Thank you for visiting!
I am a high school science teacher from Illinois, who breeds and keeps several snake species as a hobby. This website was developed to help share my interests with others, as well as to showcase my collection!
I have been working with reptiles for close to 18 years, and I often use many of my animals for educational shows and demonstrations. I have always enjoyed working with animals, and prior to teaching I worked at veterinary clinics as a kennel assistant, receptionist, and dog groomer.
As a herper and an educator, I have found that there is a lot of inaccurate information available to the general public in regards to my hobby. Many people associate snakes with evil, and do not often understand why they should be preserved in nature, or in the pet trade. As a breeder and an owner, I strive to promote the positive aspects of herp ownership, but I also advocate responsible pet care. There should be no reason to ban the ownership of snakes, but people need to be made aware of how to properly maintain their pets!
Please visit often, and feel free to contact me any time with questions, comments, or concerns!
